Glass is one of the oldest, most widespread as well as the most ecological form of packaging material. Glass packaging is part of our daily life but obviously represents a certain amount of waste.

VETROPACK NEMŠOVÁ s.r.o. is the only company in Slovakia to be able to recycle glass containers. Using this secondary raw material means not only saving energy and natural resources required for its production, but also eliminating the quantity of CO2, NOx and SOx emissions released into the air.

Recycling glass is of benefit to all

We save energy by recycling each bottle. The recycling of one wine bottle may save up to 400 Wh of electricity. (A 100 W light bulb provides light for about 4 hours.)



Recycling container glass means fewer emissions. The production of one ton of glass container fragments may reduce the burden on the environment from CO2 emissions by up to 400 kg.
