An emergency situation calls for unconventional solutions
Just a few months ago, it would not have occurred to anyone that bottles intended for alcoholic beverages could also be used as disinfectant bottles. But the extraordinary situation calls for unconventional and above all quick solutions.
Due to the spread of coronavirus in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, consumer demand for this disinfection, which is lacking in the market, has increased enormously. Some Vetropack customers responded flexibly to this shortage and decided to adjust their production so that they could produce disinfectants.
For example, Slovak companies ST . NICOLAUS, a. s., Liptovský Mikuláš and PRELIKA, a. s., Presov also decided to manufacture disinfectants. In the Czech Republic, these are Stock Plzeň-Božkov and RUDOLF JELÍNEK. All these companies have a common goal - to supply the market with disinfection, which is a scarce commodity. However, each proceeds a little differently. Stock Plzeň-Božkov and PRELIKA, a. s., Prešov directly produced a disinfectant. RUDOLF JELÍNEK decided to go a different way and offers consumers drinking alcohol, which they can use to produce basic disinfection. ST. NICOLAUS offers both pure alcohol and an alcohol-based disinfectant solution.
